Tundra Owners

What tires are all you Tundra owners using? Mine is a 2011 that came with Michelin LTS M/S. It is time for new tires and I was thinking about the Michelin LTX A/T2. Any comments or suggestions?

My Tundra getting tires rotated as I type.
I replaces stock Michelin with high load range 10 ply Michelin. I'll give you number once I have my truck back.

Our Tundra was bought used, and came with a fresh set of Goodyear Wranglers, which are wearing like iron, but are noisier than the Michelins we had on our previous Tundra. The Wranglers have 57,000 miles on them, now, and will be replaced with LTX M/S2's this fall. I find them to be really quiet, long lasting, and great in the snow. Just my .02 worth

My 2010 Rock Warrior came stock with load range E BF Goodrich All Terrain's. I LOVED those tires. Traded my truck at 60K miles and still had tread left. The E rated tires made my truck SOLID while towing, no sway or bounce like from passenger car tires.

Just put on the 3rd set of Michelins, they now call the next generation of the LTX 2 the Defender. Best price and warranty still at Costco, free flat repair and rotation.

Good to use Load Range E or 8 Ply + tires for towing. A friend nearly rolled his Chevy Suburban years ago because he didn't bother with that. One of his rear tires blew, and the tread wrapped around the axle, took out his brakes, lines, and e-brake cable. Jackknifed. First Highway Patrol officer on the scene said he was very lucky, as they usually roll when that happens. Best not to have the blowout in the first place. So, it's likely a good move.

Had Michelin LTX A/T2 on 2013 tundra for 2years, put about 30k on them when I traded it in for 2016 model, they still looked like new, one of the best tires IMHO, few days ago , I got 2016 5.7 tundra sr5, trd-came with the same tires, 38gal fuel tank

Thanks all for the info. I went with the Michelin A/T2. Looked hard at Goodyear and Firestone but after having good luck with the LTX M/S I couldn't go away from Michelin. Also, I got them at a great price.
