TV at CAT Scale, Best Practice

When you go to the Cat Scale to weigh the loaded TV without the trailer, do you weigh with the WDH installed? Should the WDH be on the TV for the TVs "solo" weigh (hitch head and spring bars)?

Yes, that will be the most accurate way to do it. Just put the bars in the back of the bed by the tailgate.

Thank you! This has been my practice. I am curious to know what y'all think about it.

Bars off will give you accurate axle weights.

But for the sake of completeness and proper setup, you should go through again with the bars installed and engaged to see what a difference it makes.

Yes. I do the WDH engaged 2nd and a 3rd weigh with the trailer and WDH disengaged.
My question is only about the WDH for the first weigh of just the loaded TV. Is it part of the loaded TV? I believe it is, and that's how I do the first weigh.

Yes, the hitch and springs are part of the TV for weights.
