Valve Stems

I have an Octane SL 222. I am looking to get the Tireminder A1A TPMS. How do I know what type of valve stems I have? They talk about aluminum and brass. My unit is in storage at this time.

No matter what you now have, I would change them to all metal and short valve stems.

No matter what they say, there is stress on the valve stems from the centrifugal force of the small sensor attached to the stem. Why take a chance on the stem fatiguing and leaking?

This spring when I popped the wheels off to clean and grease the bearings, I took the wheels into a tire shop and had them install the following 45 degree metal valve stems to mount TPMS. When installed, they actually point towards the center of the wheel.

Currently unavailable on Amazon US. Amazon doesn't know when they will be back in stock.
