Wdh setup questions

So I recently purchased a jay feather 22 rb and on the wdh I can't get passed the third chain but the dealer said your only gonna get 2 wich doesn't sound right to me my old trailer I got to 4 or 5 no problem are they right or were they just lazy and not want to properly adjust the ball any help would be great thanks

I found a really good WD Hitch setup article a few years back, called “Dave’s WD Hitch setup”. Search for it and see if it comes up. Step by step exactly how to set it up. Trailer sales places never set them up right, just enough to get you on the way. You have to tweek their adjustments.

You’re welcome! It may take a couple of tweets to get it right, try different chain loop settings on a trip to see what works best. The main thing is to get it set to trailer parallel to the ground if possible or slightly lower in the front, not high, or you will fight sway.
