Haven’t towed a thing since the test! Towing to Grand Canyon next month with the family. Gonna stop at Palo Duro Canyon on the way back to compare.

That road into palo duro is steep! I think it’s a 10% grade and very winding (and narrow). It’ll make you glad you have a diesel powered dually towing that big trailer.

I’ve done it once before with the old TT & wife’s SUV. It wasn’t fun! Looking forward to the experience with the diesel!

Took it in last week (5/7) for an oil change and service. On the way to the dealer, the little wrench on the dash lit up. $2500 for oilcooler and EGR junk. Washed it and the wife's van Sat.

Did you delete the egr cooler or go with a bulletproof version? With oil cooler job on the 6.0, you might as well do the head studs and other updates like the stc fittings, dummy plugs and stand tubes. Also ditch the ford gold coolant in favor of Red ELC.
Then, you’ll have a bulletproof 6.0. [emoji3]
Yes, I used to own a couple of 6.0s.

Gave it the first workout of the season - 1140 miles in 2 days. Averaged 11.9mpg for this part of the trip. Off to a good start - now to enjoy some nice weather for a few days....

Got my proper licenses to tow over 26,000 lbs. I think in Georgia it's just for the money. 20 question written test, no driving test. $32.00 and out the door in 30min.

Just installed a 40 gallon Titan tank in the bed of the new tow rig. If I can get favorable winds I should be able to make it to Spearfish SD without fueling up.
It all fits under the tonneau cover so totally out of sight when we're not hitched up.

Another recall passenger side air bag this time Ram 3500. Dealer started sending me notices weekly until I brought the truck in!

Jealous lol. I want one but I don’t think I can fit it with the companion.
Had the companion sold but backed out. I want the Reese goosebox but just worry about getting rid of the solid dependability of the B&W

Complete wash/wax/detail last week. I didn't realize his dingy the white had become. I almost need sunglasses just to look at it.

I had an EGR / DPF delete done last week. I put the cab-over 5th wheel rack back on the truck yesterday.

Traded it in on a Jeep Grand Cherokee to use as a Toad.
I was sad to see my truck go, but my new JGC has A LOT of nice features my truck didn't have.

I can also vouch for Toyos ... I have the Open Country AT IIs on my Ram - just clocked 45k miles on them. I'm due for another set soon, but they just passed inspection. Not bad for a 2500 weight truck towing horses/hay/toys and the TH on the weekend. I got these specifically bc of the reduced road roar. I have rotated them every other oil change and kept an eye on the pressure and they've worn evenly. Most people don't realize that Toyos and Nittos are made by the same company.
