Lol! The hot hands will get used up quick. You’ll have to constantly replenish the supply. Save yourself the aggravation and buy her some gloves [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Disconnect the heated steering wheel in the Yukon.

Brushed 6 inches of snow off the top of the truck (and TT too) after a sort-of surprise snowstorm last night. We get snow about once every five years and then only an inch or two. Not worth it. Dunno how you folks in the northeast and Rockies stand it.

Took a “mental health” day (aka sick day) from the ofc and got this done today...with the help of my neighbor and his big, strong son!

Now that looks like a stout bumper! I see lights and sensors too. Fantastic.

Thanks guys! It has a receiver hitch in the bumper. I’m thinking I might move the bike rack to the front of my truck to keep the bouncing to a minimum when traveling. Before I commit to it, anyone foresee any issues with it? I’m wondering what my visibility would be; would it affect engine cooling?

Interesting question about the engine cooling. I have never hauled anything like bikes on the front of a truck so I can't comment on how they will effect airflow. I can tell you that we have a snowplow mounted on a '04 Ram Cummins. I have to be careful running it on the highway with that plow on. It will run the water temp up very high in a short period of time.

Now, there is no way to compare a sold blade in front of the grill to something like bikes, but it would be worth keeping an eye on, especially while towing in the heat.

Thanks fellas

No I am not going to miss the vibration. My dealer gave me 500 less than I paid for my truck as penance. It was nice of them to recognize the issue.

No I didn’t opt for that, not because it’s not nice but I really like the hard buttons. Also with the exception of the radio and navigation it’s really just two screens anyway. The aluminum hard buttons are my ideal set up. Click image for larger version

I plan on replacing my trailer brake controller this afternoon. I had an old Tekonsha Mark 12. Picked up our new toy hauler and found out the brake controller didn't want to play anymore. I got my hands on a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 to replace it.
