Like I said you can use an Android-based smartphone. It's kind of hard to see while driving. I picked up a tablet off Facebook market place for 50 dollars. Tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab ones should work. I Have the Motorola Xoom with a 10" screen. Hope that works for ya.
THANK YOU. Interesting tool/ Engine monitor.

Hit 15k miles on the way back from filling up the auxiliary & main tanks in preparation for leaving for Fredericksburg, TX this Saturday. Now she'll just sit in the garage and wait to pick up the 5er on Friday!

Since you appear to have a Ford, you can use Forscan to view and change settings.

12 years of road salt just a little too much for my oil pan.

Going to have to order on in from Cummins. Probably will not be able to get to fix it until April though with my schedule.

I went to start my Ford E-350 today after sitting idle for 2 months and guess what? Dead battery. I'm embarrassed to say that I neglected the water levels. Good thing I had my NOCO GB150 Battery Booster and there was JUST enough room to pop the hood. I won't let that happen again.

Had a blowout on one of my Sailun tires. Heard a loud pop (like an explosion). Thought I blew a turbo boot on my truck. About a second later the TPMS alarm is going off. Had to pull on the side of I-30 to change it. Worse part was I had to put the crappy OEM spare (Rainier) onto the trailer to drive the remaining 75 miles.
Going to try to order a new tire and a second one for the spare

Luckily there was minimal damage

That sucks!! Glad everything turned out ok for y’all! We just finished dinner here in Fredricksburg. I had some problems with my TPMS alarm going off on 1 tire saying that it was leaking because the PSI was going up. Up to 128 psi. So I pulled over & checked the tire, but no issue...so I just turned the system off for the last 150 miles.

The 350 started throwing a P0401 code a week back (insufficient flow thru EGR cooler). A little trip down “google lane” suggests it was a plugged EGR cooler. Rather than doing the job myself I took it to a local shop that I had good results with. The $1300 turned into $2300 when the bolts to the hot pipe from the exhaust broke. But they got it done and truck runs great, no codes. The cooler was indeed clogged w carbon/soot.
FoMoCo shoulda spent more $$ during design as this isn’t an uncommon problem.

I love that battery booster. It's nice how it doesn't weigh 40lbs like the regular ones. Plus when I take the bike out and tent it I can charge up stuff off the USB.

I agree with Tom. I would have spent the dollars on a delete. While leaving that stuff stock and in good working order is good. You might have benefited from a one and done repair and possibly better economy. I have a buddy that removed all the emissions stuff off his 6.7 PSD and went from 16mpg empty to 21mpg. I guess it really depends on where you live and how strict they are on emissions.

In ten years, the AOC types will have outlawed all these vehicles.

Yeah, I thought about going that way but was concerned about the annual inspection worried me. I recall that you have deleted and have read nothing bad about it but still worried about doing it. Currently here in TX diesels aren’t emission tested but I “think” they’re supposed to do a visual to verify the parts are there.
I got just shy of 60k out of it and by the time it needs another one my son will probably be taking my keys away.

Most the time the people doing the inspection have no clue what they are looking at. They pop the hood and see a bunch of plastic parts and engine pieces. Might look for a emissions label and call it good.

Today I figured I would slide under the truck and give it a once over before I head out to on our trip. I serviced the rear diff and noticed the rear brakes were...well gone! I'm a bit surprised as I had it into a tire shop for new tires when I picked it up late last year. Also, it was over at Ford for a recall and they said they did their multi-point inspection and everything looks great. So two different shops missed that. I'll own up to it and say it is my truck so I should have looked at the brakes. Anyway, parts are ordered and on there way.

After adding a steering stabilizer, I forgot the wheel wasn’t centered then backed out of my narrow garage door opening to do this...Click image for larger version
