Went from a Reese RB2 Wt. Dist. Kit w/#63970 Shank, 10,000 lbs weight distribution hitch.
to a Equal-i-zer 4-point Sway Control Hitch, 10,000 Lbs Trailer Weight Rating,

WOW, what a huge difference.

I used my TV to tow my boat to the lake and back today. Fishing stunk, just one kitty cat, but it was better than doing what the DW had in mine. :/

I discovered where the fuse box was in the engine compartment so I could replace the fuse that controlled the trailer turn signals and brake lights...

New tires

I ordered a new set of tires for the truck. BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires, size LT245/75R17 LRE. They will replace the OEM BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A LT245/75R17 LRE. I've put 71K miles on the OEM tires.

That is impressive mileage out of the OEM BFG's. My '07 Ram came from the factory with BFG Rugged Trails. I got decent mileage out of them, but nowhere near 70K.

So I've been seeing some wet spots under my Ram for the last couple of days. New leak to deal with between the transmission and transfer case.

So far since November, I've replaced the rear seal when doing the clutch, the oil pan that rotted through, and now this leak. This is getting a little old.

I hate that for you! I had to replace the same seal a few months ago. I had them do the rear seal also. It cost me $500. It is better that you fix it now than being stranded on the side of the road!

It's the seal between the transmission and transfer case correct?

Yes. That is what was leaking on my F450. My truck is 10 years old So I thought better to change the rear seal to since they already had to disconnect the transmission. The labor was cheaper that way.

Thanks. I'll have to drop it and separate them. I pulled them as one unit when I did the clutch and rear crank seal.

Dropped by the dealer and had the factory drop-in bed liner installed. Now I can get going on installing my Peragon bed cover.

Update on my little leak. It appears to be coming directly from the top if the trans and running down both sides. The only thing up top is the shifter boot gasket. Ordered one and should be here next week. No sense taking it apart without a new one.

Repaired a screw that was coming up through the floor. Put our clothes in it. Began getting it ready to go camping over the Memorial Day Weekend.

Installed the Peragon bed cover. Fairly straightforward installation with the quick clips to mount the rails - no drilling necessary. It's normal for it to be a little stiff the first couple of weeks so I may need to fine tune the rail height if it hasn't loosened up a little bit by then. It's not bad now so I think it should be good.

Also, between the design of the Peragon and perhaps a slightly taller wall on the F-250 my 5g jerry can fits under the closed cover with room to spare. Couldn't do that in the RAM with the BakFlip.....
