Thanks

Truck holds 34 and aux tank 50.

Yes it is added weight. But when I fill up my wallet is so much lighter it makes up the difference.

Also every 10 miles or so I get 7.1 lb lighter.

Over the course of the last few weeks:
  • Head gasket
  • Head studs
  • Oil cooler
  • #1 Piston (longer story there)
  • Quadzilla boost fooler
35+ psi boost now, coolant temps and egts dropped, pulls mo' better.

Used FORscan for the first time on my truck.

Made the following changes
  • Added the "digital readout" above the trans and engine temps
  • Disabled the famous Ford 3-chimes when you turn on the ignition

Not sure what else I might do yet, but I'm gaining confidence with FORscan

OK. Thanks. Mine is a 302A XLT. I don't think that I have the ability to add those digital temp readouts with my display.

On my previous 302a, the digital readout for the transmission was in the truck info screen, and I believe up to 2019 anyway, it's still there.

For whatever reason, on the Lariat, they took that screen away, but I can add the gauge electronically to the cluster. The problem was that the gauge didn't have a numeric readout. Now I fixed that.

Yes, I can still toggle over to that display on the main screen on the 2018. I didn't realize that it wasn't on the Lariat.

Added Husky Liner carpet liners to the front and back seats. I can't believe I waited so long to do this. If you have a floor mounted transfer shifter, ignore the manufacturer's websites that say these don't fit...they absolutely do and the 1/2" the mat is pushed away from the shifter trim isn't noticeable.

Went & got wood to smoke a 12# USDA PRIME brisket tomorrow.
My diesel is now $2.04 but that’s 2 hours away. With my 55gal under belly tank I’ll be there Friday.

Put fuel in tank and check for leaks. So far so good.
Also I put a Motorized ball valve in this time. Hooked up to upfitter switch.

Finally broke down and gave it a much-needed bath. Kept waiting for Mother Nature to do it, but we’ve had no rain in February. With temps in the 70s, I ran out of excuses.
