What tires did you end up getting?

Michelin Agilis across Climate...these are the replacements for the LTX MS/2 that they are no longer making. I figured that I’d give them a try.

"I see adult beverages in my near future!".

As a non-drinker I take solace and comfort in the knowledge that when the really bad stuff hits, I have something to fall back on.

Filled up the tank after a trip yesterday, at $1.89/gallon for diesel had to take advantage of the price.

Guess I will have to look at them when I replace the 4 rear tires..........
Between those and the B.F. Goodrich that are on it now.

Filled up the main & aux tanks. Washed & waxed exterior. Cleaned the interior too. All I need to do is put some fresh grease on the B&W jaws and we’re set to head out to Yellowstone 1 week from tomorrow.

My truck was a little dirty from camping over memorial weekend so I decided to wash it today.

Washed a bit of Mojave desert off of it the other day and today we put a breathable tarp over the cab. Keeps the desert sun from destroying the nearly 18 year old paint job.

I've installed Bilsteins and switched out my factory mirrors for the factory towing mirrors. My F-150 had the towing package, but not the Max Tow package, so about a month ago I installed the Ford trailer brake controller and had the BCM reflashed for it. We're just about ready for a nice long trip. :-)

Cursed at it as it gave me a DEF empty message with a 500 mile countdown and then only took 2 gallons to be topped off. Looks like the trailer and truck go in for service this week.

Got up before 6 this morning and waxed the brown beast before it got too hot. Supposed to get up to 110* later in the weekend.

I did have mine looking somewhat good. But, of course, I hit rain on the way back from the campground yesterday. Now I need to decide if I really want to wash it again before our trip next week or just wait until it gets back from the next round of camping.

Stared at it in the garage, wishing the dust off the tires. Since it's white, dust doesn't show up on the paint unless there's lots of it.

This past Friday we traveled from Hagerman, ID to Baker City, OR. Only 223 miles but there was a lot of road construction on I84. Picked up a lot of small tar specks both on the front and sides of our TV. A week or so ago I purchased a bottle of Turtle Wax T-520A Bug and Tar Remover. Today I gave it a try. This stuff is awesome! At first I just tried using it on the spots but there were so many that I used it on the entire surface. It leaves a coating of wax when you buff it off. It goes on very easily and you let it sit for about a minute and wipe it off and buff with a clean microfiber cloth. Incredible!! I highly recommend it!! And it's only $3.99 for a 16 oz bottle.

Dropped it off to check the A/C. On our TX trip it started blowing warm intermittently (not pleasant in Texas!)

I’m also having them change the oil and the fuel filters, since they’re due.

Still need to wash the road trip off, though!
