The Ford did just about everything better than the Ram, except contain its engine oil. I replaced it with a Nissan Titan that is more comfortable than either of my previous tv's and has been flawless. Towing with Ford: 10-12mpg. Towing with Ram 8-10mpg (E-Torque will not help) and Titan 9-12mpg. Four friends have GMs and every single one (all 2015-newer) have bowled bucket seats that do not support. Two have had engine problems at less than 50k, one lost a transmission at 37k. Three people I know lost their Ram Eco-Diesels (2016-2018) to fire (same dealer that caused Lemon Law action) under 100k miles.
You had the 2.7? I’ve known several people with the 3.5 eb and no problems.

Replaced the OEM FLA battery with a NAPA AGM. The OEM battery has been showing signs of weakness - twice in the last couple of weeks it's given me a battery low warning after sitting for a few days in the colder weather we've been having. It was pushing 4 1/2+ years based on manufacture date which may not be that bad given some of the battery threads I've seen on the truck forum......

I had five oil pan replacements in 48k miles. The fiber composite oil pan uses a black silicone seal and all applications (F-150/Explorer/Fusion/Lincolns) leak. Ford wanted me to "leave it at the dealer" so an engineer could look at it, for an undetermined time. Service manager at my dealer had never experienced this, but between arguing with Ford over the extended warranty coverage (loaner) and the dealer (no loaner), I traded. And it went from bad (Ford) to worse (Ram)

They replaced the oil pan on my wife's F150 at ~32K miles (3.5 Eco).

Ordered a set of Michelin Defenders for it today. Still have the OEM Goodyear Wranglers on it but the wet traction has become suspect. I got 48K out of them so pretty good. Looking forward to more of a highway tire.

I put in new headlight shells ($110 for the pair) and LED bulbs to replace the 9007 halogens ($50 for the pair). I aimed a smidge below horizontal at 25 feet so that I won't blind oncoming drivers.

Those airbag look good, you did a good job on installing them.

Separated the Kitchen and Bathroom Receptacles

Although I have 50 amps the 2 kitchen, 2 bathroom, and 4 outside receptacles are all on the same 15 amp breaker. Jayco did this so they only needed one GFCI receptable to protect all of them. Well if you are making coffee and the wife decides she needs to run a small electric heater in the bathroom to knock the chill off, the breaker will trip. I must have my coffee, so I must fix this. I traced the complete circuit from receptacle to receptacle and found a good separation point between the kitchen and bathroom. Disconnected the outgoing wire at that receptacle and pulled it back to the panel box and installed an additional 15 amp breaker. I also installed a GFCI receptacle at the first receptacle from the new breaker. My morning coffee is safe.

Filled main and aux tanks with diesel for $180.00. Headed to Catherine's Landing near Hot Springs, Arkansas on Sunday.

Backed into a small cement post (backup aid was pinging on the snow bank behind it). New bumper and step pad ordered plus lecture from DW...

Ouch! My sympathies. Guessing the lecture hurt worse than the bumper damage

I changed out the ESIM (Evaporative System Integrity Module) for the 3rd time on my 2016 Ram with 59k. I think the last 2 times I was buying faulty cheap parts from Auto Zone. Hopefully this one will last.
Off the subject our 06 Ram 3500 at 165 miles needs its first radiator lucky. Will change before towing fiver cross country this summer. Guess I will buy from Rock Auto.

Just had our fifth snow in a month, which is about five more than a typical year. Enough!

Parked it in the garage and put the battery tender on it. I'm sure it'll be awhile before she gets out again!
