Not as expensive as if I had the dealer do it. My cost, about $100 for the plugs. At the dealer, I've heard that some pay up to around $400 to get the plugs changed.

Today I changed the oil and filter, and changed the 75w140 synthetic gear oil in the differential.

One more job left to do... the transmission service. I have the filters, fluid and RTV sealant. Just need the motivation. Maybe Saturday.

I got the front passenger and driver side windows tinted yesterday. The rear passenger windows (I have a crew cab) and the back are tinted from the factory so thought why not get the other ones done.

Looks good!

I got all brand new tires for free from Michelin. I did have to pay $60 for mounting and balancing.

I had some P rated AT tires that had cracking between the threads on all 4 tires, these were the original tires with just over 15,000 miles on them. I was checking over the truck and getting it ready for winter when I noticed this. I went to the dealer where I bought the truck and they told me they did not work with Michelin on tire issues and warranties. Disappointed, I left.

I stopped in the lot next to the dealer and called Michelin and they created a case number and suggested I take it to a Michelin service dealer for inspection. They said the Ford dealer was the closest location.... I told them no way and they suggested another shop (Mr Lube) and I went there. They were extremely helpful and told me not to expect much, but they were certain they could get me some type or warranty discount from Michelin. Michelin gave me 100% warranty. I was even allowed to replace with a different Michelin tire. I now have the Michelin LTX M&S2 tire.

If you have a Ford F-150 with the OEM Michelin AT tires you may want to check them carefully for premature wear and cracking between the threads. There was a recall on some (though not on my tires) for this condition. My tires may have been near the same production time or something. It was a 5 minute phone call from the shop after inspecting my tires that gave me the 100% replacement. Check your tires closely, not just the air pressure.
It is better to tow than to be towed.

I reduced my rear tire pressure from 80 to 60 since I'm back on my home base and not towing for several weeks. My TV is my daily driver. Of course being retired I don't drive every day.

Installed TonnoPro Tri-Fold bed cover, and heavy rubber bed mat. I came to the realization that it would be kind of tough to haul a stroller in the back of the truck if it's raining!! But I need it to be easily removable for when I install my canoe rack.

So far I'm VERY impressed with the cover; good quality, GREAT value, super easy install, and very functional for what I need. It even came with a cleaning agent, a stick-on light, a tailgate seal and some gloves! Ordered it off Amazon with Prime free shipping and got a very fair deal, and got it fast.
