I'm assuming pre turbo and the CAT1 sensor is post turbo. Haven't found any documentation to prove it yet though.

Yesterday I swapped out the stock mirrors for a pair of towing mirrors. Next up is a tire rotation and I'll be ready for the next trip.

One of those tubular chrome tailgates with a gooseneck notch was given to me earlier this week. Since the tailgate on my truck is a little tweaked, I decided yesterday to go ahead and put the tubular tailgate on and try it out for a while.

While putting on this tailgate, I discovered that one of the tailgate latch brackets was missing. I bought this truck 15 years ago, and I'd never noticed this before. The tailgate has been latching on only one side for all these years. I went to the local wrecking yard and got another bracket for 10 bucks. All is well now.

I'll evaluate the tubular tailgate on my next trip in three weeks. If I decide I like it, I may have it sandblasted and powder coated. It's got some rusty looking spots on it.

I put in a new radio and speakers. Found one that has blue-tooth and a back-up monitor with a CD player.

Washed it -- I drove through a rainstorm and it cleaned off most of the dust.

Wow! That is a little over $9,000 USD. I wonder how much a rebuilt engine would have run.

I wonder if you might have gotten an extra "0" in their. That's a lot of money for a head gasket replacement.

Do they have to pull the cab off to get to the engine, Seann?

Put Air Lift RideControl air bags on. Will test them out this weekend. Definitely improved ride quality when not towing.
