Changed the oil, spun on a new filter, and greased the front end before the snow flies. Also routed the block heater cord to the "winter position" so that I am ready for the freezing temps.

I bought a plain broom stick and installed a rubber coated hook (think garage organization supplies) in the end. Now I have a nice long handle to get the things that have slid up to the front of the truck bed. One of my best truck mods yet and I use it CONSTANTLY.

Replaced the blown Airlift air bag that blew after a grand total of 2 miles towing. The new one fared much better then the last.

Ordered the oil and filter. They'll be here tomorrow so I'm hoping I can find time to change the oil and rotate the tires on 2 vehicles one evening this week so I don't have to worry about doing it this weekend. Unlikely though, probably will be turning wrenches Saturday...

Gave her the first oil change per the EVIC and rotated the tires per the manual; 7657 miles. All is well, but the oil I drained out was a little dark for my comfort. So I think I'll go back to changing the oil when the EVIC gets to about 20-30% oil life remaining. Some say it's a waste, that the computer and the engineers know what they're doing. That's what I did with the GMC, and it worked out just fine; not a lot of extra cost for good peace of mind.

Dropped it off the our local Chrysler dealer to check the "check engine" light. It needs new catalytic convertors. $1600 for everything.

What did you do to your Tow Vehicle today?

Replaced tires with the new Michelin defender ltx. Finally made in 285/60r20. I think I'll like them better than the Trans force that was on it from ram

Seems early for tire replacement on a '14. Did you put on a lot of miles, or was something wrong with the Transforce? I have the Transforce HT on my truck (2015 Ram 2500), so I'm just interested in hearing your experience.

38000 miles of which 5000 were towing 16k with 3300 on the pin. I think the michelins will do a bit better but time will tell. Only have 800 on them so far
