Saturday morning, I used it to plow 4-6" of stupid white [stuff] off the road and driveways.

Put 2 new batteries in the F-250 yesterday. Old batteries tested at 12.5v but the cca's were down under 500 from 750.

I looked at those Swingcases and would love to have one but they'd be right in the way of my tonneau cover lock downs.

Finally got around to adding the engine block heater plug and a winter grill cover over the weekend on my Ram 3500. Probably should have done it before it was 12 degrees but that didn't happen.

Install was drama free even with frozen fingers.

Love them

They are easy to install as well strong. Holds a lot and I can fit my ATV or my 5th hitch with no issues. My full lock clearance is excellent to with the 5er hooked.

Great investment.

Ah, hadn't thought of that. My tonneau locks are right there as well. I'd like to have a hard cover, but my tonnopro works okay, and it's SUPER easy to remove when I need the bed.

I'm getting too old to climb in and out 0f a 4 X 4, so 4 months ago I bit the bullet and couldn't be happier. I went from a 2500, 6.0 gas, auto, 4x4, 4.10 to a 2500 diesel 3.73 auto. Both 06 quad-cabs. Even my wife likes the Dodge better. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. LOL!
It only has 150,000 miles on it, so it's just getting broke in. Runs like a sewing machine.

Installed a roll-n-lock cover with a cargo manager. Dressed it up nicely.

Fits fine under my T-cover clamps

I'm totally disappointed in my factory shocks. This truck just turned over 50K miles and I have one shock that has ruptured seals, with all the oil on the outside, and the shock totally ineffective. I have 2 more that are leaking. Aaaanndd........ I have a groin pull I'm trying to get over. Luckily we have Amazon Prime and a son that's a pretty good mechanic... and he owes me... The Bilsteins and sockets are in the garage...

Uh oh! That makes me wonder about my suspension. It gets a pretty serious workout at the deer lease, so I tend to worry about it anyway. 50K miles doesn't seem like enough for shocks to die a death like that. My truck just clicked over 21K.

Silver lining: you get to put premium aftermarket parts on!

And, I don't have to do it! Josh is coming over tomorrow and I'll hand him wrenches...... I'll take him fishing next month, so we'll be all even.

Let us know what you think of them after you've had them in awhile. I've heard nothing put good things in the Ram forum.

Santa brought brand new WeatherTech floor mats, front and rear! Vacuumed out the interior (whoa! That was a job!) and slid them into place. I love these things! SO much better than the carpets that were in there!

Also applied some Aerospace 303 to the dash and the front door panels before my toddler ran out of patience and it got too hot. I guess I'll finish the rear panels one evening this week. That stuff makes the panels look like new and doesn't leave much residue like some other products I've used. Plus the UV protection is nice.

We did the deed yesterday morning and changed out the factory shocks. The Bilsteins went on without a hitch and the difference is very noticeable. The factory shocks were so bad that changing out with any shocks would have been noticeable... Two of them were so bad that they wouldn't stay out when stood on end, and were wearing their oil on the outside. I've seen bad shocks before, but none this bad after only 50K miles. These are definitely a nicer riding shocks than the factory shocks were even when new. I think this was money well spent. I'll know more about that when the dealer releases my trailer back to me next week.

Ordered a cabin air filter retro-fit kit. Apparently RAM included everything BUT the filter and filter cover for this... So the retro-fit kit includes the filter and the removable filter cover and costs ~$30. Just cut the opening, install the filter and cover and you are good to go. It sounds like starting with 2017 models this is now standard.

I did this last year. Not hard at all, especially if you have a Dremel.
Thanks for reminding me that I probably need to change out that filter!

Dropped the 2 top gears in the tranny on the WAY to our Christmas camping getaway. Made it home in 2nd gear at 40 mph.
