Just got her back from the body shop from all the hail! She's just as pretty as when I brought her home!

Hooking up tomorrow and dragging the 5er to the dealership for warranty.

Good to hear Dan! If only RV dealers could do the same thing as car repair shops

Got it back from the dealer after some warranty work that had "accumulated", that I wanted done before the warranty expires Memorial Day weekend.

Replaced one oxy-sensor, blew-out and cleaned the sun-roof drains (and showed ME how to do it, for after the warranty expires!), a firm-ware update, and a recall that I WASN'T aware of, they replaced my catalytic converter!

All "no-charge" for me, but on the dealer form that I signed (so that they could back-bill RAM), there was a total of $2700 worth of work!!!!

Now, if the Jayco dealer calls this week, I can p/u my 377 which is ALSO in for some warranty work!

The new spark plugs I ordered online came today. It's pretty sad when I can get them from a different country and have them shipped here and it still costs less than half of what I would have to pay at the dealer.

What did you do to your Tow Vehicle today?

Drove the camper home from a 7 night trip to Myrtle Beach SC. First trip of the season was a success...

Installed front and rear Husky X-Act Contour Floor Liners. They fit nice and cover a lot of floor area.

Oil change, tire rotation, and grease front drive shaft. Standard maintenance interval.

About 3 weeks ago i was headed for the work at 5.00 in the morning and stopped to fill my truck with diesel. This station is one i have used 100s of times, same pump and when i left the station and got on the expressway the truck started running bad. First thought bad diesel, well within 3 miles i knew i wasnt going to make the 20 mile journey to work so i pulled off the highway and stopped at my shop and parked it. I got out, opened gas lid and smell no lead fuel smell. Needless to say i was not a happy person at this point. Call wife to pick me up and take me to the plant and had truck towed to nearest ford dealer hoping for best but expecting the worst. After 5 days of waiting for the news i got a call it was ready to pick up. 650.00 for a fuel tank clean, fuel filters changed and system purged she fired and ran just fine with no codes or damage to engine that they could tell. I gave it a few weeks before i post but as of now according to engine temps and fuel economy she seems to have weathered the near disastor ok. I still dont believe i put premium no lead in it and even ask for the stations surveilence video to prove i did but they didnt give it to me so i will be fueling elsewhere in the future and looking and smelling very closely from now on. So in closing i am thankful for the blessing that the 6.7 powerstroke didnt disentegrate itself in the 4 miles driven but weary of filling now more than ever. Keep your eyes open when fueling
I just noticed your misfortune. If you paid with a credit card, you could go back and look at the transaction, and that will tell you what pump you used.

New spark plugs. Even though they say the stock ones are good for something like 160,000 km, I've read that the Ecoboost engines are hard on the plugs. When I checked them last fall at 50,000 km, the gaps were all over the place and there was noticeable wear. So I re-gapped them at that time and ordered some new Motorcraft SP-534 plugs gapped to 0.030" and installed them. It's already running smoother and getting slightly better mileage.

But it's a shame that I can order them from a different country, with a lousy exchange rate, pay shipping and duty, and it still costs less than half of what I would pay if I got them from the dealer which is literally walking distance from my house!

4 new Michelin Premier LTX tires on Saturday. Cabin suddenly goes from loud to limousine quiet. With only a couple of days on them, its early to tell, but so far I like 'em. They do seem a bit softer (more flex) than the OEM Fortera's or my Blizzak winters. First tow will be this weekend; we'll see how they do. Short tow to the tire shop to get 5 new Maxxis on the TT.

I installed a tailgate assist strut. Hey, why not? It was cheap and easy to install. And in doing so, I found the 7 pin wiring harness I have been searching for tucked in behind the driver's side taillight.
So, I also wired my 7 pin connector to my truck

Now it's beer-thirty
