Had the black body moldings painted to match the base color.... after 10 years the moldings were starting to fade...it also updates the look of the car. We've decided to hold onto it for a few more years....

Had the tires rotated and balanced plus a complete detail inside and out. Changed the oil and filter.

Now it's ready for my first trip away from my home base this year. I'm headed to Panama City, FL for 4 months as a host at my favorite Florida State Park.

Does putting my 2014 Wisconsin State Parks admission sticker on my windshield count? If so that's what I did, but I do need an oil change soon.

I did the same last week after I changed the oil and greased the front end. Heading out for our first trip of the year over Memorial Day weekend and could not be more excited after the long winter we had this year!

Added lighting to the bed for night time viewing. I run it off a door jamb switch so they come on with the tailgate open.

Preparing to install EGT, turbo, and tranny temp gauges. Timbren suspension enhancement parts will be after that.

Oil change and overall inspection. It's in desperate need of a bath too, but won't get to that until the weekend.

Used some fishing line to cut the rubber door moldings (kept coming unglued) off the doors and used a rubber "eraser" tool to clean off all the excess adhesive. A wash and a wax and you can't tell the moldings were ever there.

Used a grinder to knock off a ton of surface rust on my receiver and sprayed it down with some fresh paint.

Taking it back to the Ford Dealership because it threw me a CEL. Something about a DEF Tank heat sensor. Thank goodness it's still under warranty. BTW, nice truck jtownstumpjumper!

Well, since, on the last trip we broke a tie rod end (blessed because we didn't roll, hit anybody or anything), we now have new tie rod, ends, steering dampener, alignment, 4 new ball joints, and a driveshaft u joint. In the course of inspection, we also ended up replacing the caliper and pads and turned the rotor on the right rear. Changed the oil, filter, fuel filter, and rotated the tires. New brake controller and bumper plug in.
Not today, but in the last week.....
Whew! I hope we're done for quite a while.

I washed it and then bumped into it with the RZR and added a small scratch to a rear quarter panel.
