Noticed a small hole starting to wear in the drivers seat. Went and bought several beach towels to make some seat covers.

I used black duck tape on the vinyl seats in my 1500 work truck that were tearing. Kinda redneck but its working!

I just drove mine back from Tennessee after a nice long weekend. No 5'er this trip so mileage was 19-20'ish vs 12.

Haven't been using my F-350 much over the last couple of months, due to my hip problems. So went out and fired him up. Interstate battery still fully charged, oil still clean, all fluids still OK, tires still have 80 psi. There just doesn't seem to be anything that needs attention. Gotta love them Fords ! :hihi:

Out truck has been stored this winter. But has had pinstripes added, bug shield installed, side window vents installed. The bed rug is in the basement waiting for warm weather to be installed. I'm waiting for the salt to go away so I can get it out to drive, until then its under wraps along with the convertible.

This morning I gave my truck a good washing. I haven't done that since last summer, believe it or not. We had a nice steady drizzle here in the SE California desert last night, and it soaked all the dust and dirt on my truck really well.

So about 7AM I drove to the fresh water spigots, filled a couple of buckets and my 5 gallon water carrier, came back to camp and commenced washing, as it continued raining. Got it all washed and rinsed, and now it's getting another soft-water rinse from the rain. Can't wait till it dries to see how much shine was hiding under the grime.

Yesterday I washed it after coming home from a hunting trip. Freezer didn't get topped up either by the way. Will be loading it up Thursday to go camping on the weekend.
