Installed some 12v accessory outlets in the back seat so the kids can charge their phones and such.

Like the sound of that. Been wondering how I was going to deal with our Champion. Sounds simple, but could ya post a pic?

Thanks,

Washed it. Chamoised it. Blew the crevices out with air and chamoised it again.

Yes, but it will be a few days. Sorry. Have to help son with painting inside of his house Sunday (& Monday?) and have out-of-state guests Wednesday so Tuesday most likely day.

I wasn't sure anyone would care about a quickie, DIY thrown together ramp so did bother initially.

Got delivery of my Maxxis 8008, LR D, 8 ply, on Friday and had local tire shop install them. Yesterday I sold my 2 year old Blowmax tires that were in great shape but I just wanted the safer upgrade to Maxxis 8008.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

Since I'll be here at Sand Flats campground in Moab for another week, I went ahead and unloaded my truck yesterday. Nice to have it empty so I throw my bike in when I want to haul it to the trail head.

Put new tires on my 2012 GMC D/A Crew Cab, Big O 265/70/R18. Had Michelins, but was unhappy with the use appearance at 29,000 miles so decided to try something else. We'll see what happens. Only driven the tires about 40 miles so far and no towing yet. We'll see how they feel and perform when we start towing.

Did the same as SMS1115...washed the truck and the wife's Jeep Cherokee. They look so much better without a solid layer of salt on them!

In preparation of our first RV (Jayco 17XFD) on order, we installed all the goodies to make our 2012 Honda Odyssey a capable tow vehicle:

Class III Receiver
Wire harness for 4 and 7 pole connector with brake controller
Air Lift 1000 lb air bags for the rear suspension
Transmission cooler
Tekonsha P2 brake controller

It took us 2 days with yesterday doing all the manual labor stuff and today all the wiring. We took our sweet time, saudering all the connections, tucking the wiring just right, etc.

But now our Odyssey is good to go. Now the hard part is waiting our ETA of mid-May to pick up our camper.

Washed the roof with Dawn, coated the new Maxxis with 303 Protectant then covered them, aired 'em up to 65 lbs., hung a few items inside, and wished we were camping. Oh, did I say wished we were camping?

Happy RVing,
Jeff
