Oil changed over the weekend. New tires before we start hauling for the season.

Changed my fuel filters today at 9,996 miles. Computer said I still had 32% left, but I decided to change anyhow! Here's a pic of the new and old front filters side by side.

The SW heat has damaged the clear coat, sent it to the paint shop to have the top and hood repainted.

Had some extensive maintenance done this Saturday to the TV. Going to Quarryville, Pa. in April to celebrate my 50th (yeah yeah..I know!)

Oil change
Fuel filter
Rotate tires
Wiper blades
Coolant flush & fill
Tranny flush & fill
Rotors turned and new pads front & rear
Both rears drained and filled
Added a K&N Cold Air
A/C deodorized

Some covered under my maintenance plan and some cash.

She's ready for the season!

Next week...the trailer!

Took a little road trip (200 miles) from Moab to Grand Junction and Fruita, CO and back. Hit the Walmart, the Goodwill store, and went to the Dinosaur Museum in Fruita. I also hiked around Dinosaur Hill, south of Fruita. That's where Elmer Riggs discovered a 70-foot-long, 30-ton Apatosaurus in 1900.

While at the Dinosaur museum I spoke to one of the brainiacs in the fossil preparation lab about a bunch of bones I found when I was a teenager (still have 'em). I donated one to a museum back then to identify, and found out it was a rhinoceros leg bone, pre-ice age. Not sure what the others are, but I got an email address that I'll send pics of some of the bones to when I get back in WA. Maybe they can identify them for me.

Truck ran great. 75mph in CO and 80 in Utah. Sailed right along and averaged 19 mpg.

Stopped by a large chain hunting store (the one with the big fish tank) and found a Curt brake controller and wiring kit on clearance, on the way home from looking at and putting down payment towards 2014 sport 8. Great timing, Nissan recommends trailer brakes over 1000lbs for Frontiers. Current options specifies 5100lbs max trailer weight. WELL under.

Was using it to tow our camper to have an outing over Easter weekend. Truck died on the way there. [emoji22]
Getting it towed to get my STC fittings replaced in the high pressure oil pump. Luckily my camping buddy picked up my trailer and took it to the CG. Another friend will be doing the repairs to the truck at his shop. Good times [emoji15]
