Finally found what I was looking for and in a color I really like. Traveled 200 miles to get it, made the deal on Sunday and was able to pick it up the following Saturday. Short story of the deal, truck at 50K miles, truck, title, tags, registration, and a 4 year/48K mile warranty out the door for $49k. Now when spring gets here, I'll pick up my trailer from storage with the old TV and set up the Andersen hitch to work with this rig.

Fantastic! Enjoy

Picked it up from the dealership today for the oil change and recall. I asked out of curiosity how much to rotate the tires for me (since I know that they have to be removed from the Alchoa rims and rebalanced). Dealership wanted $445! I promptly replied no thank you! They checked the alignment for me at no charge & provided me the specs, which were good. But both the front 2 tires are wearing a little excessively on the outer edges. I told them that I'd rather run the front crappy Nexun tires into the grave and replace with Michelin's at $279 a pop! I did call around for the tire rotation and the cheapest was Discount Tire @ $310. So I figure I'll run the front 2 a little longer and replace.

Dan, do you have a Les Schwab in your area? Check out my attached receipt!
At the time my front Nexxen tires were also wearing on the outside rather badly. The front end from the factory was really misaligned. They comped a few of the items!! Look at the comment section where they state that the tires were slightly out of round. On a previous thread I mentioned that I damn near had the driver side front disintegrate on me. Replaced all six about a month ago.

My fronts were wearing too Dan, so I replaced with new Michelins.

All the rears I will replace in near future. I am NOT going to have them rotated because I know they will screw up the wheels. Plus it's too pricey!!

It looks like I will be doing the same Jack! I don't even trust Costco to change tires anymore after the 3 sets I bought locally from them for the DW's previous vehicle! All 3 times I had to have them repair a rim and pay for a cleaning of the interior!

I really don't think the rears will wear uneven anyway.

Somewhere I heard that all duallies front tires wear funny.

I had a RAM dealer mess up one of my front rims while changing out a defective tire pressure sensor............they paid for the repair. Amazing how they can repair aluminum rims!

I have a F450 DRW and the front tires have always worn on the outside. Alignment is good and tire pressure is maintained. I’m inclined to believe it may just be the nature of the of how the front tires wear on duallies.

Engine Oil and filter change, transmission and filter changed 5,000 miles ago. Just my normal routine. I believe this was change #40 or maybe #41 for the engine over the past 13 years. Oil/filters are cheap, engines and transmissions aren't.

Sat on the tailgate of my Chevy (2004 Dmax) and watched my buddy's Much newer Fix Or Repair Daily get towed to the garage...

Yesterday heard from FCA. They were asking for sales contract, finance docs and registration. I reminded the re-acquisition agent the registration was in the truck as required by Texas State law, at the dealership. She then explained her request was slightly irregular as she had been trying to get ANYONE in the dealership to respond to e-mail and voice mail since 12/19/19 with no luck. At this point she asked "Don't guess you'd be interested in a replacement, would you?" NO.
Before days end was offered a settlement, for sometime in the near future.

Meanwhile...went to Vroom.com and bought a 2018 Nissan Titan with 15.5k miles.
Just put the FedEx envelope they overnighted to me back in the system with he 16thousand signatures it needed. Hopefully will have it delivered in the next 10 days.

I just increased rear tire pressure from non-towing to towing pressure. Off tomorrow morning for my next volunteer gig. It is just 70 miles and will be my 4th time at this COE campground.

Last November we purchased a 2017 Power stroke, I put the new hitch receiver rails in it my self. The hardest part was getting past the thought that im going to drill holes in the bed of my new to me truck. Took a day or so get the guts to do that but the install went well and was easier to do than I though it would be.

I put a Battery Tender on mine this morning. It’s been 2 weeks since I last drove it.

I've had to do that with my F-250. Sometimes it sits in the garage for weeks at a time but I guess they sit on the dealer lots for that long too. Better be safe than sorry though.

Got her stuck in the mud. Weather was decent this weekend so loaded up the wife and dog and took a ride to our favorite lake. Went down a gravel road to check my catfish spot. When we were ready to leave, I backed up to do a three-point turn and backed up just a bit too far. Back wheels got in the mud and before I knew it was up the axles.

After a few minutes of futility trying to get it loose, another car came by and we were able push it back on the road.
