I have a 13 with the same specs (minus the lighter body) so I won't answer your question, just curious what you're thinking of towing?

Sorry. I have a 2009 long bed F150 super cab with tow package and I pull a loaded 2014 24FBS Elite TT. Specs say it weighs up to 7500 lbs. loaded. My 5 liter V-8 pulls it very easily and gets avg. of 12 MPG. As you can see in my signature I use a 10,000 lb. Equalizer hitch and have 3.73 gears. Hope that helps.
Happy RVing,
Jeff

Haven't found a hill I couldn't climb in 3rd or 4th gear, out of 6 auto.Hope that helps.

We have a '13 FX4 SCREW EB with 3.73, was pulling a Jayfeather x20e hybrid, this year a JaYflight 26RKS. Can't tell you any about the 26RKS yet, but the x20e I literally forgot it was back there a couple of times it pulled so well.

I have a '11 F-150 w/Eco-boost & HD tow pkg. pulling a 2013 Eagle 266-RKS (GVWR 8500 lbs.). Great combo! Pulls like a dream! In tow mode w/cruise control, I loose about 4 mph going up a steep grade before it downshifts and the turbos kick in. Then the speed goes back up to set speed by the time I get to top of hill. Kicks down a gear on declines, or I can downshift to even lower gear if necessary to maintain downhill speed. Of course, you won't get the compression of a diesel, but it works well enough. I keep trailer tires inflated to max on sidewall, and TV rear tires @ 48 lbs. (50 lbs. max on P-rated TV tires), and average 6.5-12.5 mph while towing - depending on loading, terrain, and wind.

With a 2015/16 aluminum body, you should pick up an additional 600-700 lbs. of available payload capacity (depending on your options).

Hope that gives you some insight.

Thanks Guys for the responce, I am looking at the jayflight 32tsbh model with elite and fiberglass option. We dont travel far and never fill water tanks when traveling. Campsite we use alot is about 45 mins away. We usally book 1 week at a campsite about less then 200 KMS away, but normaly use the closest campsite on a regular basis. Payload on my truck is 1574 lbs max, with max tow capability of 10,700 lbs. Will I be fine with this TT? I will also be using the equalizer 10k wdh. fyi

That trailer is too big for your truck and that hitch is too light for that trailer.

Your hitch rating and rear axle rating will be exceeded.

That trailer weighs over 8K dry and tongue weight of 1200+.

My brother in law has this trailer and pulls it with a Dodge 3500 6.7 diesel just to give you an idea.

Thanks for the responce skybound, Jaycos web site states tongue weight of 665lbs? seems like every TT i've looked into, will not work with my TV, very frustrating. We need a bunk house model, and I want something from Jayco but not sure what now ? seems like Im running out of options here? if anyone has any recommendations on a different model, please share. Trading my TV is not an option as we have only had it for 3 months..

Bexiga: If you only pull it 200 kms and you stay within your weight limits go for it. The TW mentioned is dry TW when it left the factory. When loaded you should be around 1000 - 1100 lbs. That's around 13%. The 1000 DWH is to low I would recommend 1200 lbs bars minimum. You are pretty well on the max with everything. 3.55 gears are a bit low but then you are not pulling your TT everyday either.
