Question Which Hitch / Pinbox

finally narrowed down the search for a fifth wheel...Eagle 321rsts
(Ordering this fall for a Spring 2019 delivery)

I have been reading many of the posts on this forum, and have found alot of good information. I’m sure this may have been asked before

TV

Ford F250 SB 4x4 SRW 6.7 L diesel. Factory fifth wheel setup (puck system). High capacity Tow package.
OR
F350 SB 4x4 SRW 6.7 L diesel. Factory fifth wheel setup (puck system)

(Ordering in early 2019)

Hitch options

B&W Companion and the Reese Revolution 5th Airborne pin box setup.
OR
Pullrite Superglide with Morryde pinbox

Questions

Does anyone have this 5th wheel or somthing similar?

Does anyone use either of the hitch / pinbox setups as listed?

What is your tow vehicle?

* what are your thoughts and suggestions after real world experience?

Thanks in advance for your comments, suggestions, and knowledge.

I am new to fifth wheels. Currently have a Whitehawk 27dsrl. Upgrading to a fifth wheel and diesel truck soon. Pre-planning!

Posted this earlier, but updated TV options and hitch options based on some responses I have received...

You'll be very happy with the Pullrite. They are heavy getting in and out but great hitch.

I have the Reese 5th Airborne on my trailer and love it. It really does a great job eliminating the bounce and jerking of the trailer on the truck. My current hitch is an old Valley 16k slider set at its lowest setting. With this setup, my trailer is 2" nose high.

Hae you looked into how the tariler will sit with your proposed setup? The new trucks sit pretty high, a good 3" higher than my current setup.

I ask because I am considering a new 1 ton TV and am concerned about the nose height of the trailer and don't have a solution yet.

We have 2018 27.5rkds with the Reese Revolution pin box. We use the Reese Titan 16K hitch in our 2007 Silverado 2500 HD with towing pkg. Have not had any problems towing, but be careful with newer trucks, they sit higher than the older ones and can be a pain to get the 5th wheel to tow level, or at least somewhat level.

I use the Demco Autoslide in my 2016 F-350 Crew Cab SWB. As mentioned like the Pullrite, it is heavy but very well constructed. My 2018 Jayco Pinnacle 36KPTS came with the Morryde pin box. Compared to my 2012 Pinnacle without the Morryde it makes a world of difference. Will never have a fiver without a Morryde pin box.
For my money I would go with the F-350, not a great difference in price, but tends to hold a bit more resale value.

Again J.M.H.O.

I like my factory puck system. I mount a B & W Companion on it. The hitch breaks down into 2 pieces that are manageable when lifting in/out of the bed. The 5th has a Mor-Ryde pin box with the rubber shock absorber. This is the only setup I’ve owned so I don’t have comparisons to make but I do like my setup. The 5th tips the scale around 12,700# with 3,000# on the pin. I recently added Timbrens and I feel the ride is a little smoother and they definitely reduced the squat.
Note that my 350 is 2WD and SRW.

I have a 2019 F-450 with factory hitch from Reese. I think it is a 28K fifth wheel puck system. Working wonderfully fro my 2018 Jayco 36kpts.
