Which tire for tow vehicle

I'm ordering a new tow vehicle and am down to selecting tires. All season or All Terrain? Which are better for towing?
Dealer says All Terrain. Any advice?

If you plan on daily driving your tow vehicle and you are in NY, then I would opt for the all terrain tread. They are much better suited for the winter driving you will see in NY and will tow just fine. I run exclusively AT tires on my tow vehicles here in PA.

If you are going to be traveling extensively in areas of the country where snow is not a concern and you will not be doing much off road, then I would consider going with the all season for the increased tread wear, less noise, etc.

I agree...., my TV's have been dedicated to towing TT's and I keep warm climates in my travel plans

All Terrain, traction aside, All Terrains are typically LT rated tires that have a higher load range with stiffer sidewalls.............all in all just make a better towing set up.

No brainer to me, I have towed with All Terrain/LT tires for the last 35 years, all but 4 of those years have been with BFG All Terrain KO's\KO2's.

I run Falken A/T3W on my 2WD Dually which is my TV. The traction has been outstanding in snow, packed snow and ice, the ride is quiet and they are wearing great! They have been extremely solid towing heavy regardless of whether I have the gooseneck or camper on the truck. The best thing was the price, Amazon had them in a Load E for $117/ tire which Discount Tire matched! Check out the reviews on the tire...

I also the Falkens on my Subaru those have been great too.
