I found my 06 F350 King Ranch DRW 6.0 with under 40k miles for 24. Even with the necessary modifications to the 6.0, I'm still sitting under 30k on a truck that should easily last (with good upkeep) another 150-200k miles.

I love the looks and power of the new trucks, but my wallet prefers the vehicle that gets the job done at half the price.

Just one of those cases where it's hard to justify a gasser over diesel.

This year I switched from an '03 1500 Suburban to an '06 F-350 DRW 6.0 diesel. To say there is a difference would be an understatement. I am not really sure how to properly describe the difference as it is so significant.

One smiling RVer here!

It will go that many miles easily. We have a 04 6.0 thats knocking on 400,000 miles. Deletes, injectors, and a turbo and thats mostly it.

X2 UPCamper. I didn't get a diesel to save money, I got it because that was the towing experience I wanted. Same for camping - I don't camp instead of hotels to save money, I camp because I like the camping experience.
