I can't imagine the lift kit my FW would need for that.

Or if you want something a little smaller, how 'bout this one. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/09/28/ford...up-trucks.html

I saw that on the news the other day...I like my Laramie Longhorn & the Ford King Ranch, but there's no way I'm paying $100k for a truck that I might put 6-8k miles per year!

Ugh I'd kill for an F-450 limited.

Only bad part about that F-650/750 is that it would have a doggy C7 Cat in it!

I don't think you can ever have too much truck. The problem is not having enough GARAGE! I believe a 60 stall garage with 16' high doors and a lift, is a good start. Maybe a new thread "What's the perfect garage?" would be in order.

I've always said that if I ever won the lottery, the first thing that I would build was a mega garage. Forget a fancy house, just a big garage.

It depends

We full time. I'd hate to have that F650 as my only vehicle for around town. I'd have to go with the HDT and smart car combo

Short answer - YES you can have too much truck. If you are at a stage in life where you know your RV plans for the future, you should have the tow vehicle that meets that need. If you are a truck guy or believe size does matter then go for BIG. I would have said as big as you can afford, but some seem to be willing to make sacrifices in there life to have a dream truck that serves no real purpose in their life. A 1/2 ton may be all you need if you never plan to upgrade to a bigger TT or 5'er. We live on Dale Hollow Lake and frequently see guys with noisy Go Fast boats and after a couple runs down the lake, spend the rest of the day sitting in a cove with others of the same needs sit and look at each other's engine. You can easily pick out their truck back at the dock. Its a big boat so they need a big truck but all the chrome and pinstriping to match their over the top boat is easy to spot.

Unless you are a contractor or have a similar job you really don't need the biggest and baddest truck, you may want one, but you know you don't really need one.

N I C E but definitely overkill for our needs and I like to park our vehicles inside the garage which would be a problem with a truck that tall.

We could fit our TT right on the bed of that puppy, and never worry about a china bomb blowout! Only thing is, I wouldn't know if you'd call it a Class C, or Super C???

This thing has a GVW tag of 33k, seems like overkill for the trailer it's attached to.

As much as I like trucks there isn't any way I'd want to have to drive that thing around when we want to go exploring for a day wherever we are. While those sport chassis trucks are cool, not anything I'll ever need. I don't even want a dually until we're retired and on the road 6 months out of the year assuming I actually need one for whatever the wife decides we need camper wise.
