03 Kiwi 18f soft floor

I will finally be addressing the floor in my trailer. There's a massive soft spot about two feet in from the door extending into the bathroom. Idk what is leaking or what has leaked but it's getting worse. After a good rain I don't notice any water anywhere and the roof is solid. Idk.

Anyways, any suggestions on how to go about doing this? I've done a lot of research on this and am a good carpenter, so I don't see any big issues. (Until I pull the old floor up!!)

Most likely a seal on the edge of the roof is letting water in and running down a wall and somehow making it to the middle of the floor. Before starting the work you're going to need to find a way to track where the water is coming in. Could also be along the door frame, or a window.

You might try having someone hold a hose at different places and work around the trailer until you find it.

Or a window seal let water run in the walls to the floor.

Think I found it. The rear of the trailer where the rubber roof meets the tin. That seem has some small holes in it. Now to fix that and the wall where the water flowed and the floor! Ugh!

How do I get the the toilet flange off, it spins but doesn't come off.

Reseal that roof seam with Eternabond tape. Pull all the old Dicor off of the seam on the roof where you suspect the leak is. Unscrew then entire molding and remove it. Most likely many of the screws will be rusty. Peel up the tin and inspect the wood underneath. If it's not rotted let it dry out thoroughly. Replace the molding with new screws. You may need larger diameter screws. Cover the molding with Eternabond tape. Follow the instructions carefully. Done right is is pretty much a permanent repair.

Instructions for Eternabond

Why do you need to remove the flange? Screws should be holding it in.
