16XRB Foldout Heat Reflector

16XRB Foldout Heat Reflector

I wanted to make a more custom Heat Deflector to go over the foldout's on my 16XRB. As I said in a previous post, this little mod creates a vapor barrier between the fold out and the heat deflector, and in my case eliminated condensation on the inside where the deflector was covering. My first setup was just of two that were clipped together and bungie strapped around. This was not ideal, finished, or acceptable to me. So here is what I came up with:

Refletix BP48010 48-inch by 10-feet Bubble Pack Insulation

Strapworks Lightweight Polypropylene Webbing for DIY pet products, straps, outdoor gear repair - large selection of sizes and colors (1”x50 yards)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KTVCY3K

Rough estimate for the total strap length needed is 22 ft to wrap around the back (closest to the trailer) and 19 ft to wrap around the front (outside edge of fold out).
~41 feet + 1 foot each for adjustment, or 43 feet total. So the 1”x50 yards was the most cost effective option. Mind you I am making two, one for front and back. so I need a total of 86 feet of webbing.

I need 8 buckles, as the diagram shows, and choose these “no sew” ones (which I will still sew the non adjustment ends (attached to what is sewed to the reflective) and the strap below the foldout platform will have opposing buckle ends to clip in and make adjustments for tightness.

1" Plastic Buckles-2 Ways Flat Side Quick Release*

Here is the Diagram and measurements for cutting the Refletix:
