2011 X19H - heater ducting?!

I noticed in our new-to-us-this-year 2011 X19H, that there's two vents near the floor - one in the bathroom below the tub/shower, and one under the dinette on the short step under the large window.
They appear to be some kind of heating/cooling duct, and perhaps have flexible ducting behind them.
Does anyone know what these are for? Heater? A/C? Fresh air only?

They are heater ducts.

Under the dinette seat next to the bunk end you can see the hose. There should be a third one under the rear bunk between the entrance and bathroom wall.

Sweet! I didn't know that.
Is it safe to assume that the standard furnace is hooked up to use these ducts without user intervention? We camp right up though Thanksgiving here in Canada... have had nights well below zero before - mind you, in a tent trailer, but without the furnace AND an electric ceramic heater running, it would have been downright brutal.

They are. Under the 'wardrobe' closet there is a small door (next to the heating unit) and you should be able to see where the front duct goes into the heater itself. The other two ducts connect as well but they are behind one of the walls so they're not visible.

One thing you can also do to help keep the correct temp inside is look at the pop-up gizmos. They're basically a blanket that goes over each bunk to insulate. I bought a set but haven't used them yet - I will this weekend in the 100 degree weather and no shade. I have heard lots of good things about them though.
