2012 X20e: water intrusion curbside dinette window

Picked up my camper from storage yesterday, it's been parked there for 2 weeks or so. When I opened the door I discovered that water had entered through the window near the door. The wall panel was wet and the wooden storage lid had obviously absorbed a significant amount of water and was still wet. I live just east of Seattle, where we get as much as 90" of rain per year and haven't had this issue before, however we have had some pretty large rain and wind storms lately.

The window was tightly closed and the camper was mostly level in it's parking spot. I checked for gaps or cracks in the window seal and fiberglass but found none. I also checked other locations in the trailer to see if I could detect water intrusion elsewhere, but didn't find anything.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with their Jayco hybrid?

I'm planning to take the trailer in to have this issue corrected under warranty. Will post updates once I know more.

Are the outside seals still on the window....?

Yes, the outside seals appear to be in tact and fine. I can't see any path for water to get through the area where the window meets the fiberglass.

I had to replace a window in our X23B (kitchen) and from the factory they are sealed with a foam weather-seal type gasket. On removing I could see where a little water had gotten in around the frame. Not enough to cause any damage but I took the hint and re-bedded my windows using butyl tape. Make sure it's coming from the window and not through the roof area.

Yes it could be leaking in from the roof and showing up at the window on the inside...

I had a defective dinette window on our 2010 Jayco 17Z. Luckily I observed it on our first trip and there was no damage. The window was leaking through the seal within the manufactured frame, not from the frame seal to the trailer wall. It took the dealer sometime with a hose to determine it was defective. Jayco replaced the window under warranty.

I had that when I first got my TT.. the dealer replaced the seal and it has been fine ever since...
