2014 - X23F water pump

We just got back from 8 days of dry camping.

We noticed the water pump would cycle for a second or two every 30 minutes or so.

We checked for leaks and could not find any.

I don't remember this happening on our 2009 19H.

Does anyone else experience this and/or is it worth taking it in for warranty work?

Thanks, Blair

If you found no leaks, my guess is the pump is leaking back into the tank. I have seen this happen on all sorts of pumps not just RV ones. Maybe the dealer can replace with a better pump. My opinion is all pumps will do this at some point.

Please see the following post...

Likely, your low point drains are the culprit as one or both are not sealing closed. Locate them and test whether they click when the close. If not, perform the maintenance in the link above.

Excellent Thanks.

One of the low drain valves is in fact not clicking closed so that is probably it. Will service and report back.

These forums are the best thing ever.
