2016 Jayco x23b

Hi to All : I have a new 2016 Jayco X23B Hybred Travel Trailer. My 30 amp power cord is stuck inside the storage compartment allowing me to
only pull out about 10 to 12 feet. It seems to be hung-up somewhere
just inside the storage hole opening. Does any of you jayco x23b ers
have any suggestions. Jayco tells me you can go under the shower pan
but I checked that out and could not see that that would work. Has anyone
had this problem? Any ideas ???

Thanks
Jon- Luc

The shower pan has removable access panels, at least mine does. I'm not sure how helpful that would be though. It seems I'd have a hard time working an arm in there.

My cord on my old Kiwi 17a would kink up and get stuck inside like yours once in a while. I had to remove the entire cable hatch to get it out. I couldn't get it unraveled from the access hatch.

I had the same problem a few times last summer. What I did once it got stuck was push it back in a foot twist the cable clockwise a few turns and try to pull it out, if that didn't work push back in and turn the other way. It always released after a few tries.

When ours was new, it was stiff, and hard to handle, and got stuck a few times. A couple things to try, try putting it back in and out of the hole. May try giving a twist while moving it. I spayed a rag at one point with a little silicone and wiped it on the cord.

I almost got to the point of the worst case senerio, remove the horizontal board that goes under the rear bunk matress. It requires a #2 square drive screw driver bit. The white bug skirt will be removed at the same time.
