2018 19XUD Tent Latch broken

On extended trip this Summer, lower rivet popped out. Replaced with screw and continued. Last week Leaf Peeping in WV, latch piece broke in half while raising back tent. Cannot find replacement part.



Lower rivet on other side of lock also popped....so replaced with screw. Figure it will break next.


Suggestions please?

Could you post a close up picture or two of the problem area?

Just a possibility that you could reinforce the area with a piece of aluminum, stainless or wood and use a bolt and washers on the far side to reinforce the place where it is coming apart. Without seeing the problem hard to give any better advice.

Probably have to buy the entire assembly.

Anyway, my sons came thru for old dad with a couple good suggestions, and will give them a try. Thanks for the comeback......
