I am in need of a floor replacement. I have spots where it 'dropped out' . I HOPE it's from previous water damage. The dealer said the floor was replaced but lied obviously. As I came to fond out Camping World of Lake wood NJ lied about a lot, seems to be common. Just a warning.

But my question is, does anyone have pictures of a floor repair in a hybrid? I haven't taken the floor up yet and would like to know what I'm in for. How it's made and attached. I know it's a sandwich of wood and insulation but that's all I know.
Any help would be appreciated.

As nobody with more experience has answered...

I had a similar situation. The dealer didn't lie, but they did let me think that the ceiling and wall water damage was what I needed to repair. I learned that if there is a water leak it almost always works its way down to damage the floor.

The floor is a composite with foam sandwiched between plywood or other sheet good. As long as the layers remain unaffected by water damage it can be quite strong.

In my opinion, repairing sections of floor as opposed to a complete floor replacement is the way to go for DIY. Likely the value of the trailer doesn't support (pun intended) a full fledged repair.

I added supports under the flooring in sections. That kept me from needing to replace some compromised flooring sections. Your damage may be different.

I think that's what I'll do, Just repair the section that needs it. I was wondering if I should attack it from above or from below. I guess from above is the way I want to go.

Leo801, If you have a soft floor you can bet you have water damage in the walls too. And maybe mold. The water most likely came in from the corner seams and roof seams which ran down the walls and pooled at the floor. I would start inside.
