we just got our 2010 23B home today, I'm still exploring things but one question, the white cover over the two LP cylinders, it just "sit on the tanks"? no fasteners to hold it down? thats what the guy we bought it from told me, doesnt hardly seem right
So it sounds like it hasn't changed from what our 2001 has. 2 ea. 20# tanks with a plastic cover which just sits over both. I was uncomfortable with not having anything to secure it too, but likely it would never fly off. My cover has two grommets in the lower edge of the plastic cover. I installed 2 light duty bungee cords from those grommets to the frame for when I'm on the road.
That said, there may be a safety reason for the cover to not be secured into place. If there is a propane gas emergency of some sort you will want to be able to lift the cover off quickly to shut off the tank valves and stop the fuel flow. Even my bungee cords would interfere with any quick action. My plan is to not install the cords after I open the valves when on site. The cords will only be used when on the road.
Edit: The front of my trailer shows slight wear from the cover rubbing on the wall. The bungee cords may reduce that rubbing.

That's interesting, I just took a look at mine this morning and come to find out that mine already had a bungee cord on it from the factory.
Take the cover off and look at the inside bottom of it. There are probably two little tabs with hole that you can attach a small bungee to to secure it.

My 23J came with a bungee cord attached to the tabs on the bottom of the cover. It fell off the first year and I replaced it with a better one with a bit more tension. I tried towing the trailer with no tanks attached, the cover just about flew off on the highway.
