It's sunny today, so decide to clean and test everything before our first trip in July.

Question 1:
Even I empty everything from Black and Grey tank, the indicator still shows 1/3 (2 lights over 4), is that normal or something wrong with the indicator? I understand the indicator may not necessary to be accurate, but the fresh water shows Empty (1 light only).

Question 2:
Is there an overflow when the fresh water tank has filled up?

Question 3:
Will it damage the water dump if the water tank has no water, and not hook up with water supply?

Question 4:
Would you guys fill up the fresh water tank and tow it to the campsite, even the RV park will have water connection?

Thanks.

I have long since switched from pull behind to fifth wheels. But one thing I always did before backing in to a spot was remove the weight distribution bars when I was straight and level. Backing in to some spots leaves the front end of the rig dipped down and at an angle right to left making it awful hard to remove the bars. They are not really needed to just back into a spot. I found this to be awful good advice after I got backed in to some tight spots and had a lot of trouble trying to remove them.

look at what I did to raise my trailer in the link below. It was a big job. There are easier ways to do it,but since I am a machinist and had the material I did it the hard way. The easy way would be to go to a weld shop and have them weld 3 inch channel iron under there. That's how the factory did it.

The indicator lights are notoriously inaccurate. You will get used to guessing the level in your tanks pretty quick. If you are using the FW tank, know its capacity and the capacity of your waste tanks. That makes estimating levels much easier. There are options to improve accuracy (Horst probes, or sonar/ultrasonic based solutions) but they cost a bit.

In general if you hear your toilet start to gurgle or burp on flush, it is nearing full, and if water backs up into the sower pan, your grey tank is full.

Question 2:
Is there an overflow when the fresh water tank has filled up?
Yes, that is your overflow in the pictures. Location varies by model. Used to have one that spat back out right beside the fill pipe,
so you had to stand back.

Question 3:
Will it damage the water dump if the water tank has no water, and not hook up with water supply?
The aquaflow pumps can be run dry without harm. But if your tank is dry, you should try not to run it.

Question 4:
Would you guys fill up the fresh water tank and tow it to the campsite, even the RV park will have water connection?

Personally, I never tow with water as it adds too much weight to my combo. I just fill at a water station at the CG when I get there.
Get a "water thief" (rubber fitting that grabs the spout) for those campground spigots that don't have threads.

If you do tow with water, it is generally best to tow with a full tank.
A half full tank can destabilise your trailer as the water sloshes from side-to-side

Thanks.
Enjoy your first outing! Happy Canada Day...

Pretty much the same thing Bankr63 said!

Question 1, sensors, they are notoriously lie. The FW tank usually is the most accurate.

Question 2, there is a hose that sticks down below the flow that discharges any overflow. Note, that on some models, my 2012 23B included. If that overflow pipe vibrates down (and I will) that tank will syphon a lot of water out of the tank. There are tree solutions, 1st, add a valve to seal the pipe, do not like this option, as if you forget to open it when filling you could burst something. 2nd. extend the pipe and make a wrap/loop, so air gets trapped, I have seen it done, but do not know how well it works. 3rd, this is what I did, I pulled the hose up, as high as I dare, and sticking out of the floor (maybe about an inch from the floor) and inside the pump cabinet tied it off so it cannot vibrate down. Since doing this I have never had a syphoning issue.

Question 3, there is no issue running the pump without water in the system. I have accidently left my pump on driving home and no issues. They are suppose to be able to run dry.

Question 4, I try not to drive with any water in my FW tank. There is a few places I visit that have horrible water, and I will not let it in my tanks, and so I have. But I fill the tanks at the CG most of the time.

A question you did not ask;
The black tank, after dumping add 3-5 gallons of water back into the tank. Always make sure you have LOTS of water in the black tank before dumping. I always fill the Black tank with any extra water I have from my FW tank at the end of the trip.

Happy camping

What is the rim width if I am going to get the 205/75R14 tires?

My TT has 5 bolts pattern, is it 5x100 or 5x114?

Thanks.
