Air conditioner size

I want to buy a small dual fuel inverter to run our ceiling air conditioner. Can any tell me the Btu size of or unit? I cant find that info anywhere. Our camper is a 2018 16XRB with a ceiling unit. My son is an electrician, and believes putting a soft start in, I could run the air with a small 2500 watt, Champion 20 amp inverter. Is anyone here done this?

If it is a rooftop model, it is likely a 13.5K unit. And yes, many people run their air conditioners on a ~2000 watt inverter with a soft start installed. Many members of this forum have reported great success for the soft start unit from Micro-Air.
