Animal damage to main gas line

I'm looking for information on a replacement LP main hose for a 2016 X23B. I'm going to try MB Sturgis, but wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas? It is the hose from the regulator back to about the entry step.also looking for sheathing or other covering to protect the lines in the future.

Those darn squirrels!

When I have needed new gas lines, I have located a local LP shop that makes custom hoses. They have always been very good quality and very flexible. Price has been fabulous.

I can warn you, removing the hose fitting from the Jayco Manifold is really difficult to do. Not sure what Jayco uses as a thread sealant, but it is like superglue. Don't be surprised if you need to apply heat.

As for protecting the hose, I have seen a spring like device that the hose slips through. Not sure I have seen a really long one before. Do a little googling, they are readily available for propane grills. The LP shop might have some ideas too.

Cheap and readily available at Home Depot, Lowe's etc are plastic tubes for covering wires. The tubes are black, lengthwise split, ribbed and come in a few different diameters.

Harder to locate from hydraulic shops, but better, are the metal wire spring tubes, also in various lengths and diameters. Called hose spring guard. Also available from multiple internet suppliers.

Squirrels are the worst. One did some damage under the hood to a truck I had. $500 to get everything fixed.

Why not go with braided steel?
