Anything that touches the ground, hitch, tires, jacks, etc. go around them with Ajax cleanser, the ants hate it and won’t venture thru it to get into your coach. Also, look for tree overhangs close to coach or roof.

TERRO and bait

TERRO ant killer.
This is the ONLY way to get rid of them. It is a thick syrup. You put a few drops in key areas or on each tire and hitch
They don’t eat it until they get home and have a feast with their friends. As a result it kills the colony if you do it several times. Also put some behind areas that don’t get foot traffic under cabinets and such.
Guaranteed they won’t be back. I use it at home and in the RV. Good luck

Our favorite campsite is infested with ant hills. On our first trip there a few years ago, we unfortunately brought hundreds of them home with us. We still go to the same campsite every year and fixed the ant situation around the camper by laying a thin line of food grade Diatomaceous Earth around the camper. The stuff is harmless and bugs with an exoskeleton won't cross it. If we see active ant hills at our campsite, we will put it around the camper. A 4 lb bag is about $10 at Home Depot, so not terribly expensive, and a bag lasts us for a long time. You can research the stuff on-line to see what it is. We also put some Terro Liquid Bait traps in the camper and that takes care of any hitch hikers that made it into the camper. So far it's been working great for us.
