trying to understand the antennae. the jayco owners manual is quite useless and mentions nothing about the ceiling connections. Anyone know what the looped coax is for?

a little info

The tv's over the air antenna is powered, but you don't want/need that boost with campground cable or your own sat tv. The loop is for grounding or ungrounding that connection, not certain which it is. I've opened these up before to rearrange the compartment, and could see and trace what is going on, just don't have that info for you. Like I said "a little info".

Antennae question

My understanding is if you use a sat dish, take the loop off and feed your sat receiver with the input from the dish. When using OTH signal or cable leave the loop in place.

Take a look at this thread Some of the wall plates come with a little instruction, and I made a little drawing in there as well to help explain.
