Anyone Remove Television From their Hybrid?

I have a 2013 19h and would like to remove Tv from trailer. Has anyone done this? Would like to use the area for storage.
Will I damage the the cabinet where the Tv sits? Are the screw holes unsightly? Thanks!!

You wont damage it, but there will be screw holes. Just fill them with some plastic wood.

Go for it, who needs a TV when your camping anyway. We prefer to sit around the campfire and create our own sitcom, or reality show.

Exactly!! We go camping to escape the everyday life. We can watch tv when we get home!

We have a rule... No tv, ipods, computers, playstation etc for us when we are camping.

Road trip vacations in commercial parks with full hookups we make bend the rules a bit there.

As to the original poster: Go for it and remove the tv, you can always patch up the holes

We should come up with a flag, poster or sticker that shows a TV with a big X through it next to a campfire.
If there was a National Association Of Campers Against TV's, I'd pay the Life Membership dues.

Camping is Vacation

We don't use the TV much but camping is my Vacation away from work. Relaxing at a camp site watching college football is my idea of a vacation. I have a TV mount that uses the grill mount so I can watch outside.

Removed ours after the very first campout! I kept the swing arm bracket. I will be making a backplane the size of the tv, to hold spices, napkins, kitchen knives, etc.

Not us! While we like to sit around the campfire, we do enjoy our TV too. Especially on "movie night". And we love to watch, what else, RV!! It's almost like a tradition!
