Are x18d hybrids still available....?

The closest thing looks like the Jayfeather 7 line, 17XFD.

They also no longer offer the X20E. Closest thing to that is the 19 UXD which has a very low CCC.

I saw that 17XFD....everything in the "7" line has next to nothing in water tanks.....useless IMO
The X23F looks like the closest thing in a 2016. I'm looking for 3 beds.....I was/am afraid that the 23 is too much for my truck (5.3L 2011 GMC Z71 quad cab)

You have the 6 speed transmission. Double check your payload and overall towing capacity, but I think your truck should handle it fine. I know mine could easily handle the X23F and I only have the 4 speed transmission.

Am I missing something here? With a hitch weight of 495lbs and a GVWR of 5995lbs on the X23F, a 5.3L 2011 should be more than enough truck to pull that wagon around all day long. My 2010 Sierra is rated for 9600lbs and I pull a 27DSRL with 7500lb GVRW smoothly.

We bought a 2015 X18D in September of 2015. We were told by the dealership that they were discontinuing the X18D. I'm glad we were able to get one before there were no longer available. We love it!

Check (rvtrader.com) they have a few and they have a 2015 listed now.

Plus the replacement for the x18d is a foot narrower so the beds are tiny. I picked up a used x18d over the winter for a great price. Barely used 2014. There are still some out there. Good thing because I love the floorplan and it's not too much for my v6 Durango. I haven't used it yet though, I bought it and put it right into storage.

We had a 2011 Silverado with the 5.3 and 3.08 gears. It had the six-speed but with the 3.08 gears our tow capacity was 6,900 lb. The payload on the extended cab was also limited with a 7,000 GVWR. The truck had the tow package and suspension package but then the 3.08s...

I agree that if he has the 3.42s it will handle it no problem. The 3.08s will probably be OK, too.

Edit: We had an X19H and one of the cons for us was the narrow main aisle (between the bed and the couch.) This weekend we saw a X23F and it looks like a good way to get a lot of room. Even if you use the third bed for clothes/storage.

We just picked up our 17XFD (the X18D replacement) and the beds aren't tiny. They are slightly smaller and so are the tanks, but still a great trailer.

I'm 6'2 & 250 lbs, and wife and I share a bed just fine. Not as good as our king at home, but it's good.

The main difference is in the tank sizes and the hallway room of the trailer, IMO.

I prefer the new look of the Jay Feather trailers versus the old ones, and I prefer the lighter weight by going to a 7ft platform.

We just traded our '14 X18D in. Was in great shape. They have tons of interior space... However the seating inside is not great.

We have a 2015 x23F, pull it like it's not there with a 2013 F150. (I don't know how that compares to your TV, but you might.) The 3 queens are wonderful, especially when grandkids come along! The dinette slideout makes a ton of difference!
