Bal X-Chock

For those that have these, how tight do you crank them? Do you just stop after you see the tires spread a little, and its snug or do you ratchet them till you can't crank anymore?

After the tires have "cooled", I crank them pretty tight...

I snug mine down pretty good but I wouldn't say that I really crank on them.

I tighten them when first stopped and then again after the tires cool. Tight enough to not be able to move them with my hand or foot.
