Bed

We are in Florida and tonight I am sleeping with my three windows down. What a relaxing peaceful night. This is a perfect way to sleep. A perfect breeze. This is why I cans change to a closed in trailer. You miss the best thing about camping. Love my hybird!

We also really enjoy that openness you get from the hybrid.

I love having the bunk windows open. DW does not like people being able to see in while we sleep.

Unfortunately we are looking at new campers to extend our camping season into much cooler months.

We camp all winter! Just head South to Florida. 80 degrees. The breeze is the best. Fresh air! Sun cooking up. Dogs sleeping. Just can't beat it.

The tent ends are what sold my wife on the camper. We love the feel of camping with a better bed!

Trailers have not so good mattress. Our hybrid has a good mattress plus heated. We can't go to Alaska's campgrounds with soft sided camper. With covid we can't go anyway.

We're coming up on 19 years of owning 2 hybrid trailers and this was always one of our favorite features. We've slept many nights with the bunk end window flaps open.

But as we age, getting in and out of the beds, and climbing over one another is not so easy anymore. Our next trailer will not be a hybrid but it's going to have as large of sliding windows as I can find. We'll miss the hybrid, but we'll be in our X20E for at least a couple of more years.
