best glue to attach Velcro to canvas

I want to add clear panels to the bed end windows so that I can see out in colder weather.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an adhesive to attach the Velcro strips to the canvas surrounding the screened windows?

The Velco I used ( white) had a adhesive backing but you might try 3M dbl sided tape and it comes in a 3 or 4' roll.

Given the amount of flexing and temperature changes, I'd sew it on and the seal the seams.

I only used about 8-9" of Velcro at the top because the bottom actually sits in a little pocket along the bottom edge.

I never had a problem with flexing or temperature change ( 90deg. down to the mid 40s ).

We sewed in new panels to replace some torn ones.

She sat inside and I stood outside. She pushed needle through and I sent it back.

Or you could take it to a tent shop and have it sewn for you.

I did have to patch a hole once and found canvas specific glue in a kit somewhere. Came with some patches. That patch held for two years then we sewed it on.

I used clear plastic sheets as an experiment a few months ago, before going with the expense of Lexan. I taped 3 edges with Gorilla tape.

The wind did ultimately pull the tape off in spots. I then used an adhesive but it still didn't last. I'm in the windy SW a lot. As I write this, there's gusts of 20-30 mph.

So I think I may go with the sewing- although it seems like it may take while- push needle through, go outside, push needle back through, repeat often! But that's just for the side windows. The back window screen unzips.

Get a tube of this, and you'll wonder how you ever did without it. Trust me.
