The fan will create negative pressure in the cabin, when you open the toilet valve, the "stinkies" will come out through the valve into the negative pressure (your face) instead of out the vent on the roof... It's NOT pleasant.

Yep, rural parts of Korea had open sewers when I was there 20 years ago.

But we make sure that we have a packet of seat covers near the TT door ... not all facilities are as clean as I'd like.

Poll Other "See below"

We use campground facilities except for pee at night (youth/geriatric related) and possible "emergencies".

I'll keep my comments about the general population and public facility use/wastewater phobias to myself.

P.S. - A sure giveaway that untreated human waste is being dumped in fields is the many tomato plants flourishing seemingly randomly. (Humans don't digest tomato seeds.)

We have a membership at an RV Ranch and Golf Course which has clean, well maintained rest rooms with showers at each of the campground areas. When I take the grandsons, we all use the public facilities. When the granddaughters and the DW go, they all use the RV facilities and I still use the public facilities. Just the way it is....seems to be ok with all.

Emergencies only.

I had no idea about the tomatoes.

I use it. It also uses more water for toilet paper so I bought a small flip top trash can and for #1 only, I put the toilet paper in it. No guilt using as much as I want that way!

I didn't know having a flush-able toilet was the law here. All those cabins in the woods must be breaking the law with those out houses..
