Brake controller power level

Just bought a 2017 Ford F150 with 3.5 EB and 10 speed transmission and had a Prodigy P3 installed. I will be pulling an X19H. Any recommendations on the power level settings. The installation tech had it set for boost1 at a power level of 14.

I don't use the boost feature on my P3 because I found the trailer brakes too grabby while driving slow speeds. Follow the instructions in the P3 manual. I believe it says to start at a low gain setting, drive the trailer to about 30 mph and apply the P3 manually. Raise the gain until the trailer brakes start to grab but not lock.
