Cover for 17z.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an affordable cover for the 17z? I am having a hard time paying $300 for a cover.

Is tarping it okay?

People debate covering trailers during the winter. My X23B trailer is stored near trees, so a cover keeps it nice and clean during the winter months. For our last trailer, an X17Z, we used to cover the roof with our old popup cover. It worked well and protected the roof.

If you decided to cover, you should understand that the cover should be breathable (hence the expensive material costs). Tarps are not that good as they trap moisture which can lead to leaks. It would be better to not cover than to tarp, IMO.

Look at ADCO covers from camping world. We like ours and it works well by protecting the roof from snow & direct sunlight.

Thanks for the reply.

I ended up purchasing the ADCO 52239 Designer Series Gray SFS AquaShed Travel Trailer RV Cover.

I purchased off Amazon for $201 with free 2 day shipping, which was less than Camping World. So far so good. It was easy to install, it is a nice fit, and it's held up against some moderate wind and rain.
