Hi - my hybrid (xj1z) has leaf springs and they creak like crazy. When driving slow through our neighborhood, I can turn heads with the sound. Does anyone else have this issue and if so, have you been able to lessen it?
That's 200 that you put on it. Delivery could be a lot more. I agree bushings shouldn't wear out nearly that fast but I've had issues with plastic bushings failing very quickly on other trailers. I always upgrade to wet bolts as soon as I can on all trailers that I own. I will be doing mine over the winter while in storage.

I've owned 5 campers over the years. Different manufacturers. They all made that noise. Like someone said some WD40 or something similar should help but in the long run, those leaf spring bolts and shackles are noisy. Just check to make sure everything is tight. My 2016 X19H makes that noise as well. Only 2 months old.
You're sure it's your leaf springs? Do you have a friction sway control bar? Those make a lot of creaking noise, especially if they get wet. Mine always creaks.
What is a xj1z? I'm not finding that model on Jayco's web site.
And since when have they been putting leaf springs with Equa-Flex suspension components on hybrids? My 2013 and my 2003 hybrid have/had Dexter Torflex axles. They have been flawless. Why the change? Are they cheaping out on us?
