Electric jack

Hello!
We recently purchased a jay feather 7 brand new and on our second trip out it’s possible we over extended the jack and it’s now blowing fuses. The first issue is we have no manual crank it didn’t come with one!? Second we are smart enough that we just tried a 7/16 socket with extender but it will not budge! Anyone have these issues? I’m guessing we will have to replace the jack !? Is there a mystery compartment that we don’t know about for the manual crank? And is this common issue ?

You don't say what make of jack it is, but most have a"well hidden" option to disengage the brake, before winding it manually.
Look for little rubber covers, hidden trapdoors or "plugs".

It’s an FIC 3500 we have found the plug but have no actual crank mechanism to use and a socket won’t move it

Is this the one??
have you tried having the trailer plugged into power?

or have it connected to the tow vehicle power?

Having the same problem with a 2017 Jayco Jayfeather went through 3 fuses to get the trailer of the ball. I'm surprised that the new trailers aren't coming equipped with the manual crank anymore. The service department just told me to get a bigger block of wood for under the jack....LOL I'm using a 6 by 6.

Are you using 30amp slo-blow fuses, regular fuses will blow fast under that load, the slo-blow gives you a bit more time
